A Successful Week of Collaboration, Community and Cervical Screening

Last week, we worked alongside neighbouring Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to support the Live Well Bus and encourage more women to attend cervical screening appointments across Liverpool.

The week began on Wednesday with a return to Myrtle Street alongside CLPCN, exactly one year after a record-breaking three-day Live Well Bus event. It was fantastic to be back and see the impact of this important initiative continuing to grow.

On Friday, we joined Childwall & Wavertree PCN at Sefton Park to support Picton PCN. With the sunshine helping to draw in visitors, everyone who attended for cervical screening was treated to a complimentary cupcake, kindly provided by Laura's Little Bakery.

The success of the week was made possible through strong partnership working between local PCNs, the Live Well Bus team, community partners and our Community Engagement & Events Team. Together, we helped make essential health services more accessible within local communities while raising awareness of the importance of cervical screening.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for their support. By working together, we're making it easier for people to access important health checks closer to home, and that's something worth celebrating. We look forward to many more opportunities to collaborate and make a positive difference in our communities.
