Living Well Bus at the Chung Wah Supermarket
Spring COVID‑19 vaccinations and free health checks will be available in Liverpool next week, as the NHS Living Well Bus visits Chung Wah Supermarket on Hardy Street.
The drop‑in clinic will take place on Tuesday 5 May, from 10:30am to 4:00pm, offering spring COVID‑19 booster vaccinations to eligible residents. The event is being delivered by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, working in partnership with Chinese Wellbeing.
The clinic is open to anyone aged 75 and over, residents in care homes for older adults, and individuals aged six months and above with a weakened immune system. No appointment is required, and Mandarin and Cantonese interpreting will be available to support the local community.
Alongside vaccinations, visitors will also be able to access free health screening services, including blood pressure checks, BMI checks, and diabetes risk assessments, as well as guidance and signposting for lifestyle and mental wellbeing support.
Organisers hope the event will make essential health services more accessible by bringing care directly into the community.
For more information, residents can contact Chinese Wellbeing on 0151 709 2643.
